Hi, I'm Robyn

I’ve been a licensed therapist since 2007 and I’ve been specializing in maternal mental health since 2012. I love what I do.

In 2013, when I became a mother for the first time, the work I had been doing with moms and families, became very personal. I experienced firsthand how deeply challenging the transition to motherhood (matrescence), can feel. Even though by that point, I had been working in the field for a long time and specializing in Perinatal Mental Health for over a year, I found myself in the throws of postpartum anxiety.

My own emotional and psychological transition to motherhood, both the first and second time, were profound. My physical, emotional, and psychological healing process and the growth that has resulted have forever changed me and continue to inform my work as a psychotherapist, educator, and mother. I am deeply grateful that I have the privilege to work with and support mothers on their journeys and am never not in awe of the power and strength of women.

When I’m not working, you can find me soaking up the beautiful Bay Area with my husband and 2 children.

Thanks for being here!
